The School

Welcome

Welcome to Sri Sathya Sai Bal Vihar School

Sri Sathya Sai Bal Vihar was founded in 1985 by a few devotees of Sri Sathya Sai Baba. The first students were a modest sprinkling of children who were seen loitering on the roads. Soon the numbers grew as parents were attracted by the love and care the children were getting in this new school which had sprung up near their homes. Thus the seed of knowledge was sown in the tender hearts of children in this remote area of South 24 Parganas, West Bengal.

The fledgling school grew from strength to strength and soon came under the umbrella of the National Council of Sathya Sai Schools and the SSS Education in Human Values programme.

The school now stands tall in an impressive three- storied building with about 350 students and 16 teachers. Classes are held from Nursery to Class X. Plans are afoot for extension of the building and an adjacent plot has been purchased for this purpose. The school is affiliated to WBBSE. The current infrastructure of the school meets all the required criteria. The teachers are qualified, trained and dedicated. Academics is given due priority in the school. Our students fare well in the Madhyamik Board exams.
